Modest clothing for our little girls...

My daughter is growing up so fast....she told me today that she will either be a movie star or a princess and I can live with her forever LOL. I always wonder how she comes up with these random blurbs about life. My favorite one was the other day when I politely asked her to quit chewing her nails. She looked at me and as serious as could be, asked "Well does God bite his nails?" I stumbled at first and then replied that she should ask him. So she went searching around the house for God and I told her that she could just speak to him whenever and however she wanted (with her indoor voice in most cases hahaha). She seemed pretty satisfied with that answer and stopped biting her ragged nails.

So when she asked why a girl at the mall didn't have any pants on and you could see her butt (and she was wearing a skirt), I realized that this is truly becoming a common fashion statement among young girls...some younger than 10!

Modesty for Moms is a wonderful way to tackle this problem with retailers who are exploiting children and causing our little girls to grow up way too fast.
