This is the last week to sign up for the Celebrate Memories Scrapbook Weekend and save $10 on registration - after June 25 the registration fee will be $60 rather than $50!

Join us on Saturday, July 25 from 9am-9pm for an all day crop to raise money for Camp Rising Sun. Proceeds will go toward supplies and activities to help the campers enjoy a week long camp experience. For more information about Camp Rising Sun, please visit http://www.camprisingsun.com/.

The fee for the all day event is $40. Fee must be paid in order to reserve your seat. All fees must be received by July 10. Your fee includes a space to work, food and beverages throughout the day, croptalks and a lot of fun! You will receive a packet of information prior to the event with more details.

Celebrate Memories Scrapbook Weekend in CT featured in the Hartford Courant

The registrations are now coming in daily and we are so very excited to have this opportunity to scrapbook with all of you New England paper crafters!

The semi-annual Celebrate Memories Scrapbook Weekend in Connecticut will be September 25-27, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza in Enfield, CT. The Crowne Plaza is located on the border of MA so it's easily accessible to everyone!

Yesterday I opened up the Hartford Courant to find my face smiling back at me. LOL - wow what a great way to promote the weekend. Check out the article online here.

Hi everyone!



The yearly UBP festivities are hard to ignore if you're a blogger...and if you are not familiar with the Ultimate Blog Party, then join me and thousands of others online as we celebrate our "blog-iness".

Thanks for visiting the Scrap Princess blog. I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator so I tend to post alot about stamping. I am also a Christian stay-at-home mom to one {adorable} 5-year old (the Lil Scrap Princess). My husband and I have been married almost 10 years...he is one {fabulous} guy who works at home for a large telecommunications company (think of the sponsor mentioned when you text your vote for your favorite American Idol ;) doing some super cool computer development.

I am originally from a super small town in Western Pennsylvania {Mt. Pleasant} which boasted a record number of 4,000+ residents when I graduated from high school in 1995. I like to call it my starting point - definitely too small for my city girl liking - but it grounded me and I'm proud of Mt. Pleasant. It has that special olde-time charm about it and the people are so nice. It would remind you of the towns you see in the movies where everyone knows your name, your business & would call your parents the second they saw you in any kind of trouble....lol. It was fun growing up there but I always wanted to travel. I moved to Connecticut 14 years ago, fresh outta high school :)

I scrapbook, therefore I am broke. I scrapbook everyday {well almost} and am usually found working on graphic design projects when I am not scrapbooking or stamping. I love to write and contribute to several blogs & websites. In my free time {hahaha ok so that doesn't truly exist}, I also volunteer at Church and the Home & School Association, where our daughter goes. I coordinate our Moms of Preschoolers (MOPS) group here in the neighboring town, Wethersfield. I teach at the local community college & parks & recreation department (scrapbooking classes).....well now this sounds like a resume. Anyways, I'm busy & love it!

How would you like to get (9) 12x12 scrapbook pages done in a matter of 2 hours?
During these tough economic times, spending tons of money on scrapbooking supplies might not be in your budget - but during this class you will complete (9) pages, 12x12 size, for only $3 per page! Each Simply Scrappin' Sunshine Garden kit includes 8 sheets of textured cardstock in Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery, Old Olive & So Saffron plus 6 sheets of exclusive Designer Series paper & 6 sheets of self-adhesive, die-cut stickers & borders. These unisex colors are beautiful for friends, families, girls and boys! You will have enough stickers left over to take home and use to create some spectacular cards!



Class fee: $27 per person

Each person needs to bring their own adhesive, paper trimmer & photos (if you would like to add photos during class you may but you could also do this at home).
Each attendee will receive the Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin' kit, already prepped, and take home the extra stickers & borders that we do not use.

The fee also covers all of the prep work - you just come and put your pages together and see how awesome the Simply Scrappin' Kits are! Trust me, you will want every one of them once you see how incredibly easy it is to create this many pages in such a short period of time!

You will also have a chance to win one of the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Sets - each guest receives a ticket for attending and each order placed during the workshop will receive an additional ticket! If you have a guest attend who is not currently a customer, you will receive an additional ticket.
