Ultimate Blog Party 2009

Hi everyone!

Ultimate Blog Party 2009

The yearly UBP festivities are hard to ignore if you're a blogger...and if you are not familiar with the Ultimate Blog Party, then join me and thousands of others online as we celebrate our "blog-iness".

Thanks for visiting the Scrap Princess blog. I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator so I tend to post alot about stamping. I am also a Christian stay-at-home mom to one {adorable} 5-year old (the Lil Scrap Princess). My husband and I have been married almost 10 years...he is one {fabulous} guy who works at home for a large telecommunications company (think of the sponsor mentioned when you text your vote for your favorite American Idol ;) doing some super cool computer development.

I am originally from a super small town in Western Pennsylvania {Mt. Pleasant} which boasted a record number of 4,000+ residents when I graduated from high school in 1995. I like to call it my starting point - definitely too small for my city girl liking - but it grounded me and I'm proud of Mt. Pleasant. It has that special olde-time charm about it and the people are so nice. It would remind you of the towns you see in the movies where everyone knows your name, your business & would call your parents the second they saw you in any kind of trouble....lol. It was fun growing up there but I always wanted to travel. I moved to Connecticut 14 years ago, fresh outta high school :)

I scrapbook, therefore I am broke. I scrapbook everyday {well almost} and am usually found working on graphic design projects when I am not scrapbooking or stamping. I love to write and contribute to several blogs & websites. In my free time {hahaha ok so that doesn't truly exist}, I also volunteer at Church and the Home & School Association, where our daughter goes. I coordinate our Moms of Preschoolers (MOPS) group here in the neighboring town, Wethersfield. I teach at the local community college & parks & recreation department (scrapbooking classes).....well now this sounds like a resume. Anyways, I'm busy & love it!

Please leave a comment & join me in celebrating the Ultimate Blog Party 2009! I'm so glad you stopped by....grab a cup of coffee, get inspired & make some new friends!

I'd love to win ANY prize but my favorites are:

1) Kitchen-Aid Artisan Stand Mixer from Moms Who Think.
2) $100 HomeGoods Gift Card from HG Openhouse
3) $50 Target Gift Certificate from Shoot-Me-Now

And if my top three picks are already chosen, I’d love any of the following (in order of preference):
22, 21, 56, 118, 127, INTL 11, INTL 23, INTL 28, USC 15, USC 58 or any other blog designs & general gift cards :)

Hey Lisa,

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. This "UBP" event rocks. I am so thrilled to take part this year. I have met so many wonderful bloggers and hope to keep in touch with. Your little one is so cute. I have 2 boys so I know nothing about little princesses : ) I just try to enjoy my friends little angels. Please stop by often on Teacake Martini and maybe we can get you to write about your "expertise" : o) Cheers to ya!

Just blog hopping during the party and stopped by to say hi. Haven't tried scrapbooking yet but sounds like fun. Maybe there is a way to combine my love of beading with scrapbooking. Have fun at all the parties and I invite you to visit mine as well. ~Brenda

Nice to meet you! I'm an art teacher and former Creative Memories consultant so I understand your scrapbooking dilemma.

Oooo, you ARE a stamper! Thanks for your visit to my blog (Pensieve) and I DO hope you're lucky enough to win! I need to bookmark your site for card ideas...you're VERY good at it!

LOL, I was a SU demonstrator for a while, too...but only did so to get the discount. After spending HUNDREDS of dollars, I decided it wasn't worth it for me! (me no likey the demonstrator part...not organized enough to make it worthwhile!).

:)

Hi. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I like scrapbooking, but I am waaay behind. I will try to catch up this summer.

I hope you remember to pass my site on to your uncle, and I hope he is improving on a gluten-free diet.

Christina - xristya@rock.com - This is my first UBP and it's fun! Right now I'm an avid blog reader rather than a blogger because my work involves a lot of writing! But I love to find new and interesting sites and yours IS one, I love the stamp with the bird on it, and your story of growing up in a small town but being a big city-type gal! I too am broke always as a starving artist/poet/writer, but as long as we enjoy life, that's what's important, isn't it?

It's so nice to meet other Christians, and homeschool moms! I'm not a mom, but one day I will be. I'm actually a 14 yr. old Homeschool student! And you can visit my Parent's blogsite @brazenhusseys.blogspot.com
I wish I were more creative like you, stamping is really neat looking and I want to try it out sometime! Do you have any tips for a wanna-be-starter-for-fun like me lol!!!!~Lissie

Your creations are just amazing. Last year I was lucky enough to recieve a gift of cards made like yours. I am totally amazed at how beautiful these cards are. I almsot don't want to use them. I have used one, but they are just so pretty. Glad I got to visit and keep creating those marvelous cards--you have a real gift.

"I scrapbook therefore I'm broke..." oh so true! I love to scrapbook but I'm so far behind it isn't even funny - one of these days I'll get caught up but I have a feeling that won't be until my children are older! I'm Mommy to an 18 month old girl and am pregnant with our second (and last) a boy!

I'm just out this morning blog hopping for a few minutes before Sugar wakes up - having a great time at the UBP09 and finding way too many neat blogs - I'll never be able to keep up with them all!
